This morning I woke up, groggy again, but quickly started into the morning mode. Got the kids fed and lunches made and out the door. I was a bit overwhelmed by the list of things to do. Not having a car added to the frustration. So I decided to sit and write down every thing that needed to be done and organized my self with how I could do it all as eficiently as possible.

So after my husband went out the door I was ready to tackle my list. One thin I left off however was Yoga. I decided to get my mat out and work on my poses. At the end I took some time for Hisbodadus (Jewish meditation). During the meditation I was trying to focus on Malchus (Kingship). Now we have only a few days before Rosh Hashana, this is yes the Jewish New Year, simply put. But what it is really is Am Yisrael aknowledging that Hashem is our King. We must remember and cherish that every second of every day depends on Hashem's kindness and mercy to sustain it. Every wind that blows and cloud that forms and ray of sunshine, every breath is willed by Hashem. I breath, I breath in the life force, that sustinance that Hashem is giving me every day. "Modeh Ani L'Fanecha Melech Chai V'Kayam, Shehechezarta, Be- Nishmasi, Bchemla Raba Emunasecha". I greatfully thank You, O living and Eternal King, for You have returned my soul within me with compassion, abundant is your faithfulness!
Please guide me Hashem through this day, and help me to keep my serenity and calm even though I am overwhelmed. I must release control and understand that YOU run the world, and not to try and bear that burden.
Yom Tov!

Getting a Good Start!

I think it's important to get a good start to the day. Setting the stage, hopefully for how the rest of the day will go. This morning I am off to a Raw Food workshop in Bat Ayin, we will start with some Yoga and have a demo and lots of sampling of nutricious foods that Esther has prepared. I am very excited! This is the first time I have been able to attend one of these and hoping it's as fun as I hear it is. How could it not be. What a great way to start the morning. Of course for breakfast I had to be good. Slow preperation, take your time and enjoy. I juiced Spinach, wheatgrass, carrots, beet and apple. And had oatmeal with dates and almonds. Now I am on my way to get some education and yummy food:)

Update/ Finally figured out the point of this blog!

Good morning! Boruch Hashem it is a beautiful morning. I am so grateful for the change in weather as I don't deal well in the heat.
I wanted to pick up again on this blog in the beginning of Elul and give a whole vort about what Elul is and what I plan to do for myself and family.
Rosh Hashana is right around the corner so I am really diving in to two things mainly... Making Hashem my King (solidifying that relationship) and planning my menu for the chagim and cooking up a storm. So with that being said I am in the midst of making my meat order and chicken order.
Sadly there is no machirah (special sale) on organic chicken. So here I am ordering the standard, non- organic chicken. I have to say though that at this time it's what I can do. I do the best with meat as well. The meat I order is from Uruguay and is not injected with hormones and is allowed to graze and feed on grasses and not corn and soy feed. I'll gladly take that any day!
I am going to be tying in a lot of health as I see best for my needs trying to be informative and helpful to any of my readers. I have become a fanatic over my years about healthy living.
I am dedicating this blog to the memory of my dear friend Sherry Roseman her Hebrew name Tzivia Bas Gedalia. She passed away this last month of the dreaded illness. May her memory be for a blessing and her soul have and aliya in shemayim. KY"R.
I apologize if my mixture of Jewish concepts and Hebrew words is inhibiting the readability of this blog. I am in essence writing this for my own needs and sanity as a way of tying in Spiritual Torah Judaism with a healthy lifestyle. I am hoping that those who live a life as this can learn also about health and how to transition into a healthier way of eating and life.
May my words and what I write here serve as a kiddush Hashem.
Have a blessed day!

New Blog Under Construction

Hi I just started this blog so I could talk about the other things that interest me besides my art. There's a lot going on in my noggin and I feel like I need to hash it out Blog style. I get political, and I rant, I hope no one thinks any less of me when they get to know the other side of me. All human beings have opinions, mine is that. I hope this blog makes a kiddush Ha-Shem (sanctify the name of G-d). I can't be an Orthodox Jew living in Israel and not have strong opinions. I am politically right wing. I think Israel is the land of extremes, you cant be on the fence here. I follow the Torah and our Sages. I believe Israel is the homeland of the Jews. This Land was promised to us by G-d. So here I will talk about that. I will also talk about health and family and share recipes.
